Green tights and a pointy cap – what do they have to do with HIV/AIDS? That question was answered when valiant HIV PJA members dressed as Robin Hood ascended a balcony just outside the press room at AIDS 2012 and unfurled a big banner in view of the entire media. The Robin Hood tax, also known as a Financial Transaction Tax for speculative trades, is seen as an essential strategy to close funding gaps in health care, but also provide crucial resources in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

HIV PJA is part of the effort in promoting and supporting the Robin Hood Tax Campaign in the United States. Visit HIV PJA at the Human Rights/Social, Economic, & Prevention Justice Networking Zone to find out how you can get involved!
